The School has a purpose built Centre that will open to students in September 2019. This is the first Centre in South Tyneside for students to study Vocational Qualifications in year 10 and 11. Students from other schools will also attend the Centre, students will have the chance to study the courses listed below.

The Centre tutors have all worked in industry and have a vast amount of experience in their field. The Centre is managed by Mr B Bell Head of Service

A main priority for the Centre is making sure the students have a pathway into further training, apprenticeships or college whichever is most appropriate for the individual.

The Centre will also build links with local businesses to offer work placements so the skills being learned can be put into actual work environments.

The Centre will specialise in training students with SEN and Additional needs and will work with schools to build tailor made programmes.

The Centre can also be booked outside of the regular school hours if schools require sole use of the facility due to student needs, check with the Centre to discuss school needs.
