This week at Park View School, our Word of the Week is DISRUPTION.
A word that helps our pupils understand how their actions affect learning, focus, and the calm, positive environment we work hard to create.
DISRUPTION isn’t always loud or dramatic. It’s often about
small choices that interrupt learning or break concentration.
When our young people avoid disruption, they show maturity, responsibility, and respect for themselves and others. These are the habits that help them grow into thoughtful, considerate members of the school community.
Throughout the week, staff will be recognising pupils who reduce disruption —
whether that’s staying focused in lessons, moving sensibly around school,
or helping others stay on task.
