Year 8 have been busy in the cookery room this week, putting their skills — and creativity — to the test with a trio of delicious dishes. Pupils worked with focus, independence and plenty of enthusiasm as they explored new flavours and techniques.
Taco Samosa
A fusion favourite combining crisp pastry with bold taco-inspired fillings. Pupils practised shaping, sealing and frying to achieve the perfect crunch.
Coconut School Cake
A nostalgic classic that never disappoints. Year 8 measured, mixed and baked with care, producing light sponge topped with sweet coconut — a real crowd-pleaser.
Devil Eggs
A fun twist on a traditional snack. Pupils learned how to boil, peel and pipe with precision, creating colourful, flavour-packed bites.
Great teamwork, great food, great vibes!
